Left Foot Write Foot

My dear Old Mother
Has passed to the great beyond;
She is now one with the universe.
Her Voice; can be heard on the wind,
Her whistle; the cardinals response.
The bracelets and beads she loved to wear,
Bands of color in the sunset; her hair.
The rain and the storm; her tears.
Now , with her mother and my sisters; two,
Dancing pirouettes above the moon;
She watches the shimmer of the solar eclipse.
Her fierce gracefulness stalwart,
Knowing just what it is she wants;
She who must be obeyed- with a wink
Her humor was subtle and sharp.
My dear old Mother; I Love you
And miss you already!

Venetian Blinds

ED/EGEAGA

The suns coming through the window;
Blasting through the venetian blinds!(repeat)
Keep playing the music,
Seems to ease my mind.

Listen to the guitar wail:
Makes my heart want to sail!(repeat)
Sun shines for the moment,
Live the life you find.

Dream train is on the way;
Coming since yesterday! (repeat)
Find your life to live,
Love and learn to give.

The New Charge

With the new notebook comes the charge,
Get the music to the crowd!
No one is stopping you now,
You've got to get up and do it,
Because there's nothing else to it!
Recover the old worlds lost to flame.
Let your trance memory dream, use the muse.
Find time to write the managed phrase,
Make it better with the days.

Now rededicate yourself to your art , make it large!
Let the ancient banner be unfurled!
Feel the sweat from the brow,
You've got to get up and get to it,
I said there 's nothing else to do.
If you don't you've only got yourself to blame,
Admit that its true you've got nothing to lose.
Stand up , look around , find your way through the haze,
Save yourself , if you don't , find yourself in the blaze.

Everyday is the day to set the stage,
Fill the page keep it going ,
To get the planet to whirled twirled world;
The milking of the sacred cow.
You know you've still got to get to it,
Reminding yourself of your former shame;
But get off your duff put this to use.
Find an old phrase and use it in new ways,
Today is the day to get through the maze.

Mist Place

Can you call the simple song,
In long lost telephone?
Reach back though cobweb distance;
Bring 'em back to home.

Our days overtake our nights;
The moon shines as the sun.
We wait for the mornings glow;
Dove awakens with the dawn.

Can you recall the simple sound?
Bring long lost cousins home.
Reaching back thru subtle distance;
Bringing 'em back to home.
Our days, overtake our nights;
The stars shine like the sun.
We wait for mourning slow;
Dove awakens with the dawn.

Up the tune of return to home;
Repeat a word of wisdom on,
Believe in what you want to have;
December carries flame.
Bright reflects the snow;
Does the noontime's beckoning glow,
Keep you as warm as winters fires?
Balm of Gilead ; kiss your eyes.

Shipsteamer

Steady on ship steamer,
The world spins us round.
In turn the wind on water,
Careful wanderer.

Oh happy dreamer,
Watches from outside.
Come and be the judge,
See for yourself.

Steady on ships sailor,
Sun turns us round.
Holding out for another day,
Sailors at sea.
Oh happy dreamer,
Watches from outside.

Waiting

Sitting by the window,
The worlds been coming round;
Playing the original sound.

The player plucked the string ,
And that began the thing;
That keeps on buzzing.

Picking songs from the air,
Making music at the fair;
Plucking sounds from the air.

Meadowlark on the wing
Then she starts to sing
The song begins to ring
